Freediving Courses Guidelines:
The Discover Freediving course is an introductory program that teaches basic breath-holding skills, equalisation techniques, and fundamental safety procedures in a single day.
The Freediver course is a two-and-a-half-day program that includes theory, two pool sessions, two open-water sessions, and stretching and breathing, aiming to achieve a static breath hold of at least 90 seconds, a dynamic apnea of 25 meters, and a depth between 10 and 16 meters.
The Advanced Freediver course is a three-day program featuring theory, two pool sessions, two open-water sessions, and advanced breathing/stretching sessions, focusing on reaching a 2-minute 30-second breath hold, 50 meters of dynamic apnea, and a depth between 20 and 24 meters.
The Master Freediver course is typically a three- to four-week intensive program consisting of theory, dry training, pool, and open-water sessions, requiring a 3-minute 30-second breath hold, 70 meters of dynamic apnea, and a depth of at least 32 meters.
The Freediving Instructor course focuses on professional teaching skills, session management, and mastery of safety procedures, with a flexible schedule tailored to your needs.
WHY I NEED A FREEDIVING CERTIFICATION
Freediving courses are important steps in learning to dive safely and responsibly on a breath hold. Without formal training, participation in future freediving training sessions or fun dives at different schools is typically not permitted.
We highly recommend completing at least a first-level course, which opens opportunities to join depth or pool training and fun-diving excursions worldwide.
I AM NOT AN ATHLETE CAN I PARTICIPATE
While good physical fitness is always beneficial, you don’t need to be an elite athlete to do your freediving course, especially at beginner levels. The main requirement is the ability to swim comfortably 300 meters on the surface with fins, a mask, and a snorkel without any time limit.
We also provide targeted Training Sessions in both the pool and open water for certified freedivers looking to maintain or improve their skills, as well as relaxed Fun Diving trips on our beautiful local reefs.
Finally, our newest addition is the Mermaid Courses, where participants learn specialised dolphin-kick techniques to swim gracefully with a tail while building confidence and breath-hold comfort in the water.
We have all the necessary facilities for freediving – AC classes, three swimming pools, and of course our special freediving boat!
